About John
John Duffy is an industry veteran who has held leadership roles at both the manufacturer and dealer level. This depth of experience provides our client with a 360-degree view along with a point of reference of how products and services are developed, introduced to the market, and then sold through direct or Independent Rep and Dealer channels. It is through this personal experience that John can share with his clients’ insight and direction towards the development and execution of their specific growth and expansion strategies.

Prior to founding JFDuffy Consulting, John served as the executive leader of sales and distribution for two major manufacturers, managing partner, owner and president of a contract furniture dealership and the executive sales leader and board member of a private equity backed financial services organization.
The skills that John has developed and mastered over the years include Cross Functional Team Leadership, Strategic Planning, Sales Leadership and Sales Force Optimization, Operations Management, Commercial Excellence Programming, Team Building, Mentoring and Coaching, Marketing Strategy, P.&L Management and Budgeting, Recruiting, Contract Negotiation, and Independent Distribution Sales Strategy and Management.
JFDuffy Consulting has worked with manufacturers who are new entrants into the North American markets, a manufacturer who acquired another furniture and architectural product line and needed to introduce a new go to market strategy, and a major line dealer that was going through the start-up challenges.
John is a graduate from Villanova University with a degree in Business Management and has held Board positions with a Private Equity backed organization, International Facilities Management Association, and the City of Louisville Downtown Management District as well as committee participant with the Louisville Chamber of Commerce and Metro United Way.
